Job Description
Quad/Graphics, a global leader in the commercial printing and direct marketing industry is seeking a?Production Coordinator?to work in our rapidly expanding East Coast Digital Print and Commingling Supercenter in Westampton, NJ.
In this position you will assist in the creation of various well known Magazines/Catalogs/Direct Mail pieces and other related products in either our Press, Finishing (Bindery) or Commingling departments. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Oversee the sample process to ensure samples are run in a timely manner
  • Ensure the safe and timely production of quality products by performing manual and machine operator tasks in the set-up, maintenance, and operations of equipment, and creating and adhering to accurate and timely production schedules while leading all employees in doing the same
  • Understand department operations and equipment including machine set-up and adjustments to monitor production, progress, and workload
  • Coordinate department activities to meet requirements for safety, quality, productivity and on-time delivery
  • Effectively lead employees by providing oversight, monitoring performance and compliance to policies
  • Support Customer Service and Sales departments by understanding their needs, answering questions and providing solutions
  • Responsible to track and eliminate waste, reprints, and spoilage
  • Ensure maintenance programs are followed and work areas are kept organized according to 6-S Standards
  • 80% of time will be spent on the production floor, supporting and/or running equipment

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
